AA Minors Baseball is a developmental division designed exclusively for league aged 9-year-old boys and girls.

There is a tryout and draft to set teams. Players are not guaranteed to be with specific teammates / coaches.

This level introduces athlete pitching while continuing to strengthen fundamental skills such as throwing, hitting, fielding, and base running. Players build a deeper knowledge of the game, including rules, positioning, and situational awareness, while learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. The primary focus remains on development and fun—creating a positive, encouraging environment that helps players grow their confidence and love for baseball.

The Minors division plays all of its games at McAllister Park against other McAllister park teams. There may be additional costs to secure a practice location, batting cages, etc. You will receive this information directly from your coach once your child is drafted to a team. If these (or registration costs) fees create an issue, please reach out to league leadership, or your child’s coach to discuss scholarship opportunities.

The spring season will feature a regular season as well as a post-season tournament. Additionally, during the spring season the top teams will have the opportunity to play in a City Tournament and top players will have the opportunity to play in the All-Stars tournament, both in June.

Required Equipment
Minors allows only USA Baseball stamped bats. USSSA, and BBCOR bats are NOT allowed.
Players are expected to have their own glove and batting helmet.
Molded rubber cleats are strongly encouraged; but metal cleats are not allowed..
