Juniors Fastpitch

Juniors Fastpitch Softball is for girls, league age 12-14.

There is a tryout and draft to set teams. Players are not guaranteed to be with specific teammates / coaches.

The Juniors Softball division features a more advanced, fast-paced level of play that closely follows traditional softball rules and strategy. Games are played with a 12" softball, with pitchers throwing from 43'. The division emphasizes higher-level pitching, hitting, base running, and defensive execution to prepare players for high school softball.

The Juniors division plays an interleague schedule against other area Little Leagues. There may be additional costs to secure a practice location, batting cages, etc. You will receive this information directly from your coach once your child is drafted to a team. If these (or registration costs) fees create an issue, please reach out to league leadership, or your child’s coach to discuss scholarship opportunities.

The spring season will feature a regular season as well as a post-season tournament. Additionally, during the spring season the top team and players will have the opportunity to play in a City Tournament and All-Stars tournament, both in June.

Required Equipment

Juniors allows ONLY bats marked for Softball and with a 1.20 BPF stamp.
Players are expected to have their own glove, batting helmet, and fielding facemask.
Molded rubber cleats are encouraged; metal cleats are allowed.

League ages are determined by Little League's age charts. Please see the Little League Age charts to confirm your child's league playing age.

Players must reside inside MPLL boundaries or attend a chartered school within MPLL boundaries.
